NPK Compound Fertilizer puts all three major nutrients into the same granule, so the ratio the soil test called for is the ratio every part of the field receives. GCS supplies the common commercial formulations 15-15-15, 16-16-16, 20-10-10 and 12-24-12, with other ratios available to order for a specific crop or soil. Granules run 2-4 mm and are free-flowing and spreader-ready, with moisture held at or below 1.5%. It is used as a base dressing worked in before or at planting, where phosphate and potassium need to sit within reach of young roots, and as blending stock for distributors mixing to a local recommendation. Supplied in bulk only: 50 kg bags on pallets, one-tonne bulk bags, or loose for full loads.

Where npk compound fertilizer is used

A compound NPK puts all three major nutrients into the same granule, so every part of the field gets the same ratio rather than whatever the spreader happened to throw. The ratio is the whole decision, and it comes off a soil test.

Specification and grade

Granular compound fertilizer supplied in the common commercial ratios 15-15-15, 16-16-16, 20-10-10 and 12-24-12, with other formulations available to order. Granules run 2-4 mm, moisture is held at or below 1.5%, and the product is free-flowing and spreader-ready. Nitrogen is present as both ammonium and nitrate depending on the formulation, phosphorus as water-soluble and citrate-soluble P2O5, and potassium as K2O. Being a blend rather than a single compound, NPK carries no single CAS number; the analysis on the delivery specification is the number that matters.

Handling and storage

Not classified as hazardous, but it is hygroscopic. Left open in humid air it draws moisture, cakes, and stops flowing through a spreader, which is the most common complaint about a product that was fine when it left the depot. Keep bags sealed, off the floor and out of direct sun, and do not stack them against a wall that sweats. Nitrate-bearing formulations should be stored away from fuel, oil and combustible material.

Tell us the crop, the hectares and the soil analysis if you have one, and the quotation names a ratio rather than asking you to pick from a list.
