Description
Gandi Chemical Solutions supplies Chloroprene Rubber CR2322 (CAS 9010-98-4) to manufacturers, water treatment plants and industrial processors. CR2322 is the slow-crystallising 23xx grade, specified for sealants and moving joints that need an extended open time and a flexible bond line. Priced by quotation, with a current safety data sheet on every consignment.
CR2322 rounds out Camachem’s polychloroprene range, offering another crystallization-rate/viscosity option for adhesive formulators and rubber compounders. As with the other grades, request the technical data sheet to confirm it matches your specific process requirements.
Where chloroprene rubber cr2322 is used
- Adhesives requiring extended open time and repositionability
- Sealant and mastic manufacture
- Modifier in blended adhesive systems
- Coating formulations needing flexibility and weather resistance
Key features
- CAS 9010-98-4.
- Packed to your requirement.
Specification and grade
Chloroprene rubber CR2322, CAS 9010-98-4 — a slow-crystallising grade from the 23xx series. Slower crystallisation gives a long open time and a more flexible, less brittle bond line, which suits sealants and applications where the joint moves.
Handling and storage
Store cool, dry, dark and off the floor with stock rotated. Cold-storage crystallisation is reversible on warming; heat and UV degradation is not. Compounding solvents drive the fire precautions.
Packaging and supply
Packed to your requirement. Where the grade is being used as a flexibility modifier in a blend rather than as the base polymer, say so — pack size and delivery cadence usually differ.

Common questions
What distinguishes the 23xx series from the 24xx series?
Crystallisation behaviour and end use. The 24xx grades are formulated for contact adhesives with fast grab; the 23xx grades crystallise slowly, giving longer open time and a more flexible bond, which suits sealants and blended systems.
Is slow crystallisation ever a disadvantage?
Yes, where you need immediate handling strength. A slow grade will not hold a heavy assembly straight off the press. In those cases it is blended with a faster grade rather than used alone.
Does it resist weathering?
Chloroprene rubber generally resists ozone, weathering and oils better than natural rubber, which is why it is used in outdoor sealants. Long UV exposure still degrades it, so pigmentation or protection is normal in exposed service.
